JULY 09 I
Summer reached the frontiers of Belgium. It is now scorching hot or soaking wet (and often the two conditions rule supreme at the same time, making you sweat while you drown). The sad news for this month is that we had to say goodbye to Michelle-Anna Lopez, a friend of the band, who passed away much too young and who we’ll all miss, even though our encounter with her was brief.
It was also a month of first times. It was the first time ever I got slightly wounded whilst shooting pictures (Trail Of Dead who knocked me out with part of their drum kit) and it was the first time ever (and last, I can tell you) that I saw a performance of the truly legendary (bad) singer Eddy Wally. Boy, did that ever suck donkey’s ass.
